After the terrorist attacks in Paris, the implementation of measures to fight against terrorism is, more than ever, one of the priorities for the EU institutions.
This week the focus is set on the European Parliament, both at the Civil Liberties Committee debate on Wednesday and during the Brussels plenary session on Thursday (January 28).
No new measures announcements were expected, however these have been important occasions as political groups have shown their cards concerning the main measures which are now on the table.
Reforming Schengen, implementing the Passenger Names Record or the need of improving the exchange of information are some of the top issues in the debate.
